My name is Liam Bobisuthi. I am a queer artist who is trying to challenge the way we as a society look at gender, sexuality, and human nature in general. Art has influenced our world since the very beginning of humankind, and I hope to continue this immortal movement. This is my second year of AP art. Last year I completed a 2-D portfolio that studied facial expressions of the human face. This year I am making a 3-D portfolio studying the creation of life. For most of my life, the normal life creation was a man and a women having a baby together. But as I grow older I learn more and more about queer couples, people having babies independently, adoption, abortion, and life through religious looking glasses. Because of these life changing views I decided to dedicate a portfolio to the creation of life outside the binary, and through an abstract window. Life is not just men and women having a baby, it can be so much more.
